Tarun Tahiliani – This should be the first store to check out for your wedding choli. So grab a chair, read on, stress less and spend more time on the rest of your wedding to-do list.

DON’T schedule your wedding dress appointment late in the day. The early brides always get an amazing, enthusiastic and fresh bridal store designer and store staff that hasn’t dealt with the concerns, of a million clients already. Get the first appointment and don’t drive yourself nuts.
DO focus first on finding the best dress silhouette for you and also find three pictures of the dresses you would like to see yourself in. Details are, what makes your wedding dress stand out but before you start nitpicking the details, figure out the best silhouette.

DON’T get caught up by popular and trending designs, rather, try looking for dresses that go with your skin tone and body shape.

too many dresses.image_-300x200@2xDO try on many dresses before you finalise. Well, this is applicable for the wedding dress and the reception dress. If you’re planning on getting it stitched make sure you’ve done a background check of the designer and make sure you try on a few sample dresses before you choose, that one perfect dress.

But wait, DON’T try too many dresses either, or you might end up getting caught up in a lot of confusion. DON’T think you must take too many audiences when you go buy your wedding clothes, because honestly, too many opinions could build up on your own opinion and the pressure can be maddening.

Lastly, DO buy perfectly gorgeous lingerie that can hold your dress in place while you walk and dance in it. Because if you aren’t comfortable with what your wearing, you certainly aren’t enjoying your best day.

A million questions can play on your mind, but not when you have a checklist. Make sure there’s a check mark on every detail that you’ve written down in your list. You can always add or delete activities only if you think it’s necessary, keeping in mind that time is of the essense. Also, make sure you prepare this checklist ahead of time and not right at the end, unless you want added pressure.
