A brief about Indian weddings

Indian weddings are a great opportunity, very colourful and very luxurious with lots of pomp and show. Celebration of an Indian wedding started at least one week in advance. The guests gathered music and dancing are all part of this extravaganza.

This is not a silent affair. It is one of the most important events in the life of every Indian mother, father, daughter, son, brother or sister, etc. The word ‘Indian Wedding’ brought the whole baggage of all the wealth that people long to spend. Indian weddings are not only the concern of the day. Starting with a perfect game hunting followed by a celebration, which lasts at least for a week, before getting married.

Indian weddings are almost like festivals, celebrations and festivities around, creating an aura of happiness and joy. In such an environment, a person’s happiness knows no bounds. Exchange of gifts, greetings are a common sight in Indian weddings, elaborate preparations were made in terms of food, fun, floral decorations etc.

Wedding rituals and traditions
